Pledge Manager incoming

Hia,
So we've been building dilligently on the pledge manager at Backerkit and we are nearly there. First we'll send out the pledge manager to 5% of you all (randomly determined, but from each pledge level at least 1). This way we can work out the dents, if there are any. We hope to do this later today.
After the results from this so called smoke test are all a-ok we'll be shipping out the bulk of the surveys. So keep an eye out at your inbox. We expect this to happen this friday. We will also send out a small update when this happens.
The response period is quite short (2 weeks) for this pledge manager since we need to start shipping asap, the holiday season is incoming. This works in your advantage as well of course. The sooner you finish your survey, the sooner you'll have your game(s) shipped. With some European countries we believe we'll manage to get the games to you all before the holiday season.

Your survey is being sent out this weekend!

Hi there,
As of right now the pledge manager survey is being sent out to everybody. The Smoke test from last week was a succes and we've managed to finetune the last little issues. So keep an eye out for the email from Backerkit.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at http://eastern-empires.backerkit.com.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://eastern-empires.backerkit.com/faq.
We'd like to let you know that the sooner we receive your answers the sooner we can start our shipping procedure.

Smoke test
If you've been a part of the smoke test please check if you've completed your survey. There are still a 25% of those backers that didn't complete their survey but did get a reward.
Paypal
We've received some requests to use Paypal in the survey but after some reconsiliation we've choose not to implement it. Paypal is very strict about their 30 day shipping window, and can recall funds if that window has been missed. We'd rather not take that chance. If you want to pay in a different way please send us a PM.
Canada
For Backers in Canada we're talking to Boardgamebliss to manage these shipments. We'll have them pick up the games from the USA bulk shipment and they'll provide the shipping from within Canada.
That's about it for now, please keep an eye on your inbox for that incoming survey and we hope to have the games shipped to you in or before January 2022.

Pledge manager preparation + credit card bounce

Hi,
We are still working on the pledge manager. But We've promised you an update. We've gotten a few questions about credit cards that didn't get charged the second time KS tried. There have been about 30 people that had this happen to them.
Don't worry though, because you are backers of the first hour, you'll receive access to the pledge manager. We've managed to upload all 1082 backers into the system, when the time comes each and every one of you will receive an invite.
We'll be back with more news next week.
Fun Fact: the Eastern Empires campaign has the same amount of backers as it does tokens :D. Which is 1082.

The final hours

Hi!
Where almost there, the final hours have commenced. So far this has been a terrific ride which exceeded our expectations. More than 1000 backers to support this project that can fit 9 people at once at a gaming table. that means more than 9000 player getting a great civlization game experience. If we manage to hit 1111 backers we can make that 10.000 players. We could even double that number if we account for the Western Empires combination supporting up to 18 players!
We've surpassed the 999 backers which is our dream, 999 games has 999 backers! Atop that we've also passed the 1001 backers, with a nod to the 1001 nights tales of the east. Let's sit tight for the last few hours and spread the word one last time.
You guys are the best! Thank you so much for supporting this project! Let's get those 10.000 people playing Eastern Empires.

Dear Backer,
Thank you once more for backing this project, everyone at 999 Games is thankfull for your support. It's celebration time!! :D But not for long because a lot of work is still ahead of us, we've got production lined up for the end of October. And of course fulfillment, which is a major part of the process.
Next week Spiel in Essen starts, which will take up most of our time. We'll be updating you all in the week after spiel. Our first line of business is getting the pledge manager up and running asap.
