Shipping update #2 (USA & CAN)

Hi there,

In the last few weeks we have been hit by the coronavirus, each person has a different reaction to it, but all I can say, it's not pretty:S. Apologies for the non-communication. Back to the news on shipping, which is a bit of a nightmare at the moment. But despite the delays we finally have some good news for you. The games have been dropped on the eastern shores of the USA. Games are being customs cleared and are promised to be delivered to our fulfillment partner Game Envy on the 11th of March. When they receive the pallets they will ship the rest of the games bound for Canada to Boardgamebliss. ETA is 1 week after that.

About the delays in the 2nd batch of backers, there are some worldwide (EU included) backers that have encountered delays in their shipments, some of these delays are due to lost packages or customs hold ups :( unfortunately. A small percentage of this delay are the backers that filled in their surveys after our first shipping wave. These backers' packages will be sent within the next 2 weeks.

Once we receive word from Game Envy that they have started the fulfillment process we will be back with an update.

Shipping update on USA and Canada

Hi there,

As a lot of you are either receiving the games or have already opened their boxes, our shipping campaign continues. This update is mainly focussed on the backers from USA and Canada. We finally have received an ETA on the pallets coming into the USA. This is the 17th of Feb. Because shipping is a bit of a nightmare nowadays this took us a longer than expected :(. But the good news is we have a date on which the games should be arriving in the port.

For USA backers we've enlisted our fulfillment partner, Game Envy who will be ready to do the shipping from the eastcoast of the USA. They will use UPS as their go to delivery service. Please keep an eye on your UPS account for that. We'll be uploading the track n trace info through backerkit and you will eventually be able to upload the shipment to your UPS account.

For Canadian backers our go to fulfillment partner is Boardgamebliss. You will receive an update from them as soon as they ship out your package. Be aware that the pallet with games for Canada are loaded onto a seperate truck after the games come in at Game Envy in the US. 17 February will be docking date about a week after that the games will arrive in Canada.

We'll be sure to update you all once we have more info on shipping. For everyone else, please look for the mailman ;). We use Post NL to send out the packages, most of the time they will transfer the package to a local mail carrier in your country. Be on the lookout for a message from them as well, also don't forget to check junk mail folders.

Lastly, there are still a few people who haven't filled out their survey. Please do so ASAP so we can send you your rewards.

Unboxing pics, orders and addresses will lock today

Hi There,

This afternoon we are locking the orders and the addresses, you will receive a message from Backerkit about this. After this has been done, we'll charge your credit cards. This charge will only happen if you have bought add-ons through backerkit, so if you didn't spent anyrthing extra you won't get charged ofcourse.

48 hours left to fill in your survey!!?

Hi There,

We have about 48 hours left before we lock in all the addresses and start the first step of the shipping process: packing. Please check if you have completed your survey fully. I see about 50 more ppl with a pledge level of  more than 1 euro that still need to complete their address or survey.  Please double check if you have finished all steps in the survey. 

So the survey will lock on the 30th of November 2021. Please make sure your address is correct before that time.  

Shipping

So there are two types of packing we'll have to do when the survey gets locked on tuesday. We will start to pack all individual orders that go to the USA and CANADA and we'll ship those in 1 big shipment to our fulfillment partners overseas.  Everything else will be shipped from The Netherlands directly, using the local postal service, they have partners abroad and in each country it will be handled differently. Unfortunately we don't have an overview of this, but a lot of times it's your local postal service.  

Final check your survey and we will include you in this first shipping loop, if you don't finish your survey before the deadline of 30 nov. we can't guarantee that the delivery will be on time.

Pledge Manager at 81%!! Boxes show up in the warehouse.

Hi there,

So we have a little picture of the cardboard boxes showing up at the warehouse. Which is great news, thank you so much to everyone who has already filled out the pledge manager survay. That's 81% of the backers. So we only need to get 19% more to finish the pledge manager before we can go to the next step. Shipping preperation.

We'd like to really make that January delivery goal so if you haven't already filled out the survey please do so soon. If you look in your email inbox you'll find the PM invite there, or here's info on how to get there. We'll keep you updated, and we'll be locking in the CC. as soon as we reach around 95% of the survey completion. (there will be a portion of €1,- backers that won't complete the survey) Keep at it, the wait will soon be over.
